Koinobori

In Japan, families throughout the country fly koinobori, or carp kites to celebrate Children’s Day. The students in Years 2 and 3 have written some sentences in Japanese about koinobori.

Birthdays!

Birthdays are very special occasions. The Japanese word for birthday is tanjoobi. In this presentation, students in Years 2 and 3 say hello, tell us who they are and which month their birthday is in.
